Mardi Gras

i went to cover another one of tiggers events this past saturday. i saw a lot of people i hadnt seen in a long time. i guess its because i hardly go to those events. the shit was pretty live tho.

anyway heres a couple shots.

i like photographing models and all that. beautiful women and an idea for a photo that comes to life is always rewarding.

but honestly.... i really enjoy street photography alot more. raw, rough and rugged. no photoshop. no extra lighting. no pressure to get the perfect shot.

just the fact that after you shoot that picture, the image you captured. thats life at its truest, and sometimes those pictures tell a story. sometimes they dont. but that makes it dope. its up to you to look at it and think about what was goin on.

my friend Ash hit me up and said she wanted to shoot again. she didnt have anything in mind so i told her bout a few spots i'd been lookin at.

while we were shooting some guy started cheering boo on. she always has a fan everytime we shoot. haha. any way as we're leaving homeboy comes back. he said he was comin to burn one with us. i told him i was good and boo politely said no.

i asked him what his name was and he said "Rock and Roll Russel"

we chopped it up for a while. he had ash and me rollin. (no pun intended) and then i told him we had to dip. Ashley took a picture with him before we left. cool ass dude.

Lizzie & Roxy & Ona & Gage

i had an idea that i had wanted to do for a long time. girls with bats and chains etc. kinda like a mad max/sin city thing. originally it was suposed to be 5 girls but it ended up being 3.

Lizzie. i had worked with her before.

Roxy. she actually agreed to the shoot the night before.

and Ona. i had wanted to work with her for a minute.

and i had my boy Nasty bring out his dog Gage.

in the end was good i guess because it was hard to get more than one girl in a shot and still keep focus on the other two. it came out dope tho.

my friend Amy hit me up and said she wanted to shoot some photos. she gave me a general idea and i told her i had a spot. grabbed the guage, black on black pistol grip. (if thats not gangsta i dont know what is) hopped in the titan and murked off. heres the best shots of the day. thanks palestino!

Raspados.....

so i had this idea to shoot in front of a carneceria. (meat market) and have a girl posing infront of a guy making raspados. but the guy would be oblivious to the fact that there was a model even there. i had my friend Lizzie come thru for the shoot. and shit came out hot to def! thanks to Lizzie and Janet.

Boo Thang

i shot some photos of Ashley boo. went pretty smooth. some guy parked and watched the whole thing from begining to end. haha. thanks Ash.

start from scratch. again.

i started this blog awhile back but never kept up with it. so now....im gonna showcase what i've been working on for the past couple of months.

i've done a couple shoots. Thank you to everybody thats helped me so far. when i bought my camera i didnt really think i'd be getting into photography so seriously but here i am. yall HAVE TO make room for me. still building my portfolio.

i got alot of crazy ideas for some shoots but im still lookin for the right faces...so heres what i've been doin so far.

my first photo shoot....me and Karla went out to shoot some photos. i had a few locations in mind for the shoot and i didnt like them after all.. so we drove around for about an hour and finally we came across this house i liked. this little yellow jumpoff. i dont know who lived in it. we didnt even ask them if we could shoot there so we just got in and got out. shit came out pretty dope tho.
