Famous

whats good world?!

I had the chance to work with Famous of the Fresh Kidz this past saturday. So Cairo hits me up (Famous' manager) and tells me they have a location to shoot at. I head down there and meet up with the guys and it turned out we had to hit a fence to get to the location.....Now your boy hasnt hit a fence since like 7th grade. lol. i was a little rusty. i ended up scuffing the Supras and slicing my hand open. funny i know.

the spot was dope tho and we got some really great shots. I appreciated the fact that Famous was a down to earth guy and wasnt hesitant to cut loose. it always brings so much more to a shoot and it definetly shows in the images. shout out to City and Cairo for coming thru and keeping the atmosphere hilarious. thanks Alan for filming the session too. footage of the shoot is coming soon.

Lil Will

"Do It 4 Denero"

you've seen or heard the phrase all over las vegas. and if you keep your ear to local rap you know Lil Will is the voice behind it. you might not know it, but this catch phrase youve seen on t shirts, lighters, CD's etc. has a deeper meaning. If you ever run into Will maybe you can ask him exactly what it stands for.

Lil Will has his hands in alot of things. He's producing and putting out his next CD with 16 tracks and 16 videos. Its gonna be crazy. the release date is set for June 14th. Will is also being featured in the first episodes of Vegas World TV hosted my Mikey VIP. for more info on all of that log onto MYSPACE.COM/LILWILL702

DJ Bambu

Photobucket

To the knowledgeable underground party scene here in vegas, the name DJ Bambu rings a bell. They might have even known him as bam bam. Whatever the case his name is becoming more and more reckognizeable around Las Vegas and its no surprise that this Dj / producer is making a big name for himself.

He's been around for much longer but circa 2002-2004 is when "I" first started hearing his music around the city at some of the biggest venues in the city. This is when the party scene was at its peak in my personal opinion. there were at least 4 groups of promoters (including myself) really doing there thing and Bambu was a big part of that.

Now moving forward. He is becoming a more common name around Las Vegas. You can currently catch him spinning at Carnival court or on sundays at the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio. Bambu is also a music producer. Electro house is his preferance, and a he is a graphic artist. Dude gets down. you can check out his work @ myspace.com/irokgraphics

anyway.. heres a few pictures we shot.

WE RUN LV

so me and Jazz Renea got together again for a shoot. This had been on my to do list for about 2 months already... i had pitched the idea to a few people but they werent that into it. i also had yet to find a "once upon a time" shirt made for Las Vegas.

so i was just gonna get one printed up when i checked KNYEW's blog and they had an exclusive collaboration tee with them made just for their store. (KNYEW is a clothing boutique here in las vegas that carries alot of streetwear. if you wanna check out what they have in stock visit http://www.knyew.com/ )

so it was officially stop procrastinating time when i saw that. i called Jazz told her the story, she was with it. I went and rushed the shirt and we met up at a highschool. it was a bit inconvinent to shoot at times because there were people on the track jogging.. then some just walking. so we had to wait a few times to start shooting again. all and all we got some great shots though. check out a few.
