DIRTY MONEY

FINALLY... i had this concept in my head forever. the overal idea was to have the shoot be a play on words. DIRTY MONEY so i figured i would have the models Shauna & Kim pose like they were washing the money and hanging it on clothes pins. i feel like these concept shoots are so much more rewardng.. i love shooting all the Glam stuff but its these series with the editorial vibes i really enjoy shooting. thanks again to everyone involved. theses shots came out crazy!

SHOWTIME

nick hit me up again for another shoot for another of his artists. this time around i shot some promotional shots for Show Time. it was a very last minute deal and i wasnt to sure if we would have enough day light to shoot when i got a call from nick to meet them at the SOHO Lofts.

A few weeks back i posted pictures of the Swimsuit ad campaign i shot for La Dolce Vita. i finnally had time to put together the footage from the shoot. once again a big thank you to everyone who was involved.

got together with the lovely miss Monique Jaye on tuesday. a very experienced model who has already graced the pages of MAXIM & DUB magazines to name a few. the future looks promising for her indeed. she has good work ethics and im always real big on stuff like that. real reckognizes real i guess...

LA DOLCE VITA SWIMWEAR

i got a message from my friend Melinda's friend Katya who wanted to shoot some promotional Ads for her swimwear line. LA DOLCE VITA.

we got together in Nelson again and shot a desert type feel for the shoot. i worked with an amazing group of people for this shoot. Lauren Pearson he MUA did a really great job. Daria the Model who spoke very little English did an excellent job. although there was a small language barrier i still was able to kind of give a little direction and Katya stepped in and put her own touches on how she wanted the photos to look. big shout out to Peter the male model. dude did a good job. that was my first time shooting a male that wasn't a rapper or singer or something of that nature. Which is good because i need that for my book.

STREET KING

i shot for my first magazine finally. John the editor of STREET KING hit me up via myspace and asked if i could shoot a car here in vegas since they're based out of San Antonio. i set everything up. put up a casting call for the model and the rest is history. we knocked out the shoot in about 2 hours. big shout out to the Big Wheels car club. a whole bunch of clean rides in their club.

i shot Randys 71 impala. the Car was super clean. Donked out. super wet paint. sittin on 4's nice and tucked. Sarafina came out to compliment the car on the Photoshoot. we shot a car wash theme which came out perfect. Heres a sample of whats to come.

F.R.E.S.H. Fashion shoot

whats cool everybody?

so i got together with F.R.E.S.H. this past wednesday for a cool little concept. they threw an afterparty for MAGIC at the VooDoo lounge at which a few other photographers and myself shot a live fashion/editorial shoot. i had actually went to the Rio a week before to pick out the spot that i wanted to shoot at and they said it would be ok... however that was not the case on the night of the shoot. we eventually comprimised on a location and although it wasnt as dope as the original i think we got some good stuff.

Lil Will Live at the Beauty Bar

shot some photos of Willies show at the beauty bar. i was seriously surprised at the amount of support that came out to the show. it was put on by Mikey VIP and i gotta say the show had a great turnout. sometimes here in vegas i feel like its hard for the underground music scene to unify and support one another but last night was all love. shout out to everybody i've had the pleasure to have worked with that was up there.

That's my unborn daughters name...


me and Karla went out and shot her maternity photos yesterday.

for those of you that don't know were having a little girl pretty soon here. We're naming her after her mother. Also this is the reason my girl has been m.i.a. on shoots lately. i usually have Karla come help me with lighting/hair/makeup and we also shoot pictures of her too. Karla was my first model for a shoot and she actually got me into photographing other girls. it was just a hobby for me at the time but she was very involved in convention work and shooting with other photographers. she put me up on networking sites like modelmayhem.com that opened the doors for me to grow and i have definitely improved over the past year and a half.
