shot some photos of Willies show at the beauty bar. i was seriously surprised at the amount of support that came out to the show. it was put on by Mikey VIP and i gotta say the show had a great turnout. sometimes here in vegas i feel like its hard for the underground music scene to unify and support one another but last night was all love. shout out to everybody i've had the pleasure to have worked with that was up there.

me and Karla went out and shot her maternity photos yesterday.

for those of you that don't know were having a little girl pretty soon here. We're naming her after her mother. Also this is the reason my girl has been m.i.a. on shoots lately. i usually have Karla come help me with lighting/hair/makeup and we also shoot pictures of her too. Karla was my first model for a shoot and she actually got me into photographing other girls. it was just a hobby for me at the time but she was very involved in convention work and shooting with other photographers. she put me up on networking sites like modelmayhem.com that opened the doors for me to grow and i have definitely improved over the past year and a half.

got some quick last minute shots with Wel-be last night. right before the sun went down. i definetly like shooting more in the evening. especially right now when its crazy hot during the day. im beginning to be more and more of a fan of heavy shadows in my photos. its obviously not industry standard but i've never really followed the rules in photography anyway.
