I worked with another well known artist in the Vegas Rap scene yesterday. Mikey VIP. Actually he wears a couple different hats.. .it just depends on what you catch him doin at the time. Mikey is also the man in charge of his group Camp Fire music (a group full of well known artists themselves) and has also established himself as successfull promoter. His wednesday night events have been pullin crowds for quite some time now. So its safe to say Mike's a busy guy.
We met up in "the H" (Henderson) He suggested the area and i was all for it because theres so many great spots to shoot at. Mikey told me about a restaurant we could hit up afterwards.. "Motor City Coney Island" a taste of home. He's from Detroit and he tells me everything in there is just like in the midwest.. from the chilidogs to the soda. everybody signs the walls with different color sharpies and its all decked out in Tigers and Lions gear. The staff says people come from as far as Summerlin and buy 10-15 coneys and bring them back.
